In this talk, Dr. Rohini Patel will discuss how the US and Canadian state, corporate, and military nexus enabled the Canadian manufacture and sales of chemical and other weapons for the US war in Vietnam in the late 1960s. In particular, she will address how the production of Agent Orange in Elmira,
Ontario on Six Nations of the Grand River treaty lands was largely obscured, yet materially exacerbated local ecological burdens and ongoing colonial land politics on the Grand River.
