TEK STEM Camp

Creating Pathways for Youth – Traditional Ecological Knowledge and STEM

Grade 11/12 students are invited to attend this exciting opportunity to earn money, credits and get creative while learning how Indigenous knowledge, science, technology, engineering and math can work together! This summer program is a collaborative partnership by Ohneganos, McMaster University Indigenous Education Council’s Traditional Ecological Knowledge Committee and Six Nations Polytechnic.

Who is eligible to apply?

  • Six Nations Polytechnic STEAM Academy students starting grade 11 and 12 in Fall 2025.
  • Of Indigenous ancestry (First Nations, Métis, Inuit)

Application Process:

  • Fill out the Application Form: This form is to help us get to know potential participants.
  • Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Detailed camp information such as schedule, transportation information, packing list and safety information will be provided with Registration Package.
  • Participants will receive a Camp Handbook upon their arrival at TEK & STEM Summer Camp.
